Anita shows up at Maria's apartment to find Maria locked inside her bedroom with Tony, who has just accidentally killed Bernardo, Maria's brother and Anita's boyfriend. While Anita demands that Maria open the door, Tony and Maria plan to rendezvous later at Doc's drug store. Tony leaves through the window and Maria opens the door for Anita. Anita goes to the window, confirming her suspicion that Maria was with Tony, and proceeds to reprimand Maria for being with Tony ("A Boy Like That"). Maria retorts with "I Have A Love." Both the film and stage versions of the scene are included here.
