INFLUENCE
written by Shem Bitterman
directed by Steve Zuckerman

World Premiere in February at the Skylight Theatre

There's a stink of corruption in the offices of the World Bank, the world's premiere development agency, as a young, idealistic Midwesterner falls under the influence of the World Bank's powerful new Director. Loosely inspired by Paul Wolfowitz's brief tenure as World Bank Director, INFLUENCE is the final play in Bitterman's celebrated Iraq War trilogy, which also includes the plays, HARM'S WAY and MAN.GOV.

"In directing Rashomon off Broadway, Milton gave me great advice which has served me well: If you are working with a prop or have a piece of business, explore it thoroughly until it becomes second nature."
- Gene Hackman, Academy Award Winner
Unforgiven, The French Connection
