Some of his film acting credits include: a starring role opposite Ron Silver in Henry Jagloms’s Festival In Cannes, Terry Gilliams’s Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas, and Frank Oz’s Bowfinger. On TV he appeared in several popular shows including Friends, Seinfeld, Party of Five, King of Queens, and Las Vegas.
Directorially, he began his career winning the Ticket Holder Award for Best Director for his production of Eric Bogosian’s Suburbia. He followed that with critical and box office successes of John Patrick Shanley’s Savage In Limbo and Neil Labute’s Autobahn. Subsequently, he proudly mounted the World Premier of Bruce J. Robinson’s Another Vermeer, nominated for numerous LA Stage awards. Most recently, he directed Doug Haverty’s award winning play Could I Have This Dance and the Rob Rinow’s Detention of the Dead.
Mr. Mann currently teaches acting at the world renowned Beverly Hills Playhouse and is in development and pre-production for his first feature film, Detention of the Dead.
