Rob is an actor, director and teacher.

His film work includes ATLAS SHRUGGED, LEONIE with Emily Mortimer, LIGHTBULB with Jeremy Renner and Dallas Clark, CLOSING ESCROW, SHACKLES with D.L. Hughley, PURPOSE, VERY BAD THINGS. He’s currently working on WELCOME TO PEOPLE with Chris Pine, Elizabeth Banks and Michelle Pfeiffer. He is alo directing his first feature LOT LIZARD – a junkie love-story.

 

 

 

 

On television he’s appeared in LAW AND ORDER, L.A., DETROIT 187, THE CLOSER, LIE TO ME, MONK, THE OFFICE, WITHOUT A TRACE, BOSTON LEGAL, LIFE, BONES, HOUSE, LINCOLN HEIGHTS, NCIS, GILMORE GIRLS, THE O.C., JOAN OF ARCADIA, FOR THE PEOPLE, L.A DRAGNET, CHICAGO HOPE among many others. He’s had recurring roles on UGLY BETTY, SHARK, JAG, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, PICKET FENCES as well as having done the pilots for ANATOMY OF HOPE created by J.J. Abrams, SNITCH with Robert Patrick, GEORGETOWN with Helen Mirren, ASTRONAUTS and OUTREACH. Also the Movies of the Week SECRETS with Richard Kiley and Veronica Hamel and HARD TIME – HOSTAGE HOTEL with Burt Reynolds.


In the theatre here in L.A., he’s been in LA RONDE DU LUNCH at the Skylight Theatre, TRUE WEST and SPEED THE PLOW at the Odyssey, SPLITSVILLE and THE NORMAL HEART at Interact Theatre Co.. In New York and regionally he’s worked at the Roundabout, Riverside Shakespeare Co., An Actor’s Space, Florida Stage Co., Williamstown Theatre Festival among others. He’s directed at  The Skylight Theatre, The Court Theatre, The Falcon, The Hudson Guild, Triangle Opera Theatre in North Carolina, Yale, North Carolina Theatre, The Wilshire Theatre, Riverside Shakespeare, Williamstown Theatre Festival and others. He was a long-time member of the Circle Repertory Company Lab in N.Y. and a founding member of Interact Theatre Co. here in L.A.

He has been Director of Development for Palisades Pictures and a Director/Writer for the Walt Disney Co.

Rob joined Milton Katselas’ master class in 1998 and has been a teacher at the BHP for several years. He is also a private acting coach. He has also taught at Circle Rep, USC, UCLA, New York Film Academy and TVI Actors Studio. He created an Acting for Film and Television class for the University of North Carolina and the Commercial Workshop here at the BHP. His wife, Robin, is a veterinarian and they have two remarkable children, Will and Finney.
