Kiil comes over and shows Stockmann that he bought all the shares of the baths with the money he was going to leave Stockmann's wife and children. The Kiil asks him to stop with his quest to shut down the baths. Stockmann tells him he won't stop, and that the baths are doomed. Kiil tells him that he will give his entire inheritance to charity if he won't stop. Stockmann calls him the devil. Intense, goodness, delicious.
