Martin is blind. Celia, Martin’s housekeeper, is aware of Martin’s new friendship with a man named Andy and feels threatened by it. She pursues her agenda to seduce Martin even more vigorously. She takes a Polaroid of Martin on the toilet and threatens to post it in public unless he goes out with her for one night. Martin knows her threat is real – Celia is cold, capable of almost anything – and so he agrees. Celia takes him out the symphony, which he truly enjoys and thanks her for, but she still won’t return the photograph. She makes him return to her house for dinner.
