Ray and his wife Annie research the author Terrence Mann in an effort to understand the instructions given by a mysterious voice that Ray has been hearing. He tries to convince Annie that he must follow where the voices lead, and although Annie is reluctant at first, she supports him in the end, and Ray finally understands what his next move really is.
